Dear Family,
I have been thinking about each one of you,and how life has taken such different turns in our lives.. But the one thing I know is that families are so very important..I don't mean just our mates or children, but brothers and sisters, extended families etc..I have been greatful for the time I have had while spending time with Mom, to get to visit uncle Paul, and aunt Faye,.. I guess it is just being able to talk with them and share a little of what may be going on in each of their lives;some of there victories and some of their problems.. It isn't much different than most of our own.. What it dose do is offer a mmoment to travel down memory lane, and remember different people that has effected our lives in some way..I guess the other reason is the Lord has taught that families are so very important, and we should do all we can to help each other feel one anothers support..I want each of you too know how proud I am of each one of you, and what great Love I have for you and your families..
I have been doing well, my blood has been staying up pretty good, and my health has been good.. All blessings from Heavenly Father.. I have stayed with Mom several times and report we are still trying to learn how to put some play back into our lives..Last week I got to shovel snow for Mom,and I have to admit it did bring back some old memories, but not all bad.. I re learned that snow and ice is still slippery.. I only fall one time so I guess that makes me a fast leaner, or at least I hope it does.. I plan to travel up again for the baby blessing the first week end in Feb..Then return to St George for a blood draw and an appointment with Dr Burton the foot Dr.. After that I plan to drive back up to So. Ogden and spend valentines with my sweetheart..
We have had an offer made on our house and have been working hard to get all the information sent to the bank.. It will be a short sale offer and we won't know what will happen for a while, pleas keep us in your prayers..
I hope all is going well for all of you, all the Lord is blessing you and your families... Love Dad

Hey! This is Megan!
Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you a quick update about my coming nuptials. As I'm certain that my mom has told you, and if not my mom then grandma or grandpa, I'm getting married! I am very very excited about it and I cannot wait for you all to meet him. The biggest reason for this update is to let you know that our date for the day has changed! I'm a little saddened by this as our original date was May 4th which is Star Wars day (may the fourth be with you). But due to financial concerns, thoughts about what the weather will be at that time, and planning for the outside wedding, we've decided to push the date back to AUGUST 10TH, 2012. It is a Friday and we're hoping that it will promise better weather. :) So I hope that you can all make it! It would be so awesome! I love you all. :)
Love Megan

NEW YEAR & NEW THOUGHTS OF FAMILY
Dear Family, I hope everyone had great holidays and felt the love of their Father in Heaven.. I spent the holidays with mom and we are starting to learn how to play again.. That may include laughing at silly jokes sharing special moments and places..
On Christmas day we got up late then went in to the tree to start opening our gifts.. I had enough staff, and a couple of big boxes so I could'nt put everything in mom's stocking.... Sooo I bought a couple of new pillow cases to put stuff in..any way it turned out to be fun to watch her get the little things out and open them and enjoy a care free time togather and with each other..
We enjoyed seeing or talking to each one of you that day.. I want you to all know that also help make it a special time for mom and I.. I pray that each of you got to wish each of your brothers or sisters a merry christmas... I pray that life never becomes so busy for each of you that you don't take time to share good will and peace on earth with each other.. I just can't express how very important I think this is as brothers & sisters... And if anyone wonders if I did that on christmas day when mom and I where first married, yes we did..
Someone told me a couple of days a go that now you and Mom have everything back togather again everyone has gone back to the way they use to be I guess that means not talking to one another.. One thing you should all know is, mom ans I are still trying to improve and learn better how we can support each other so we won't return to the place we just came from.. I know how busy everyone is in their lives, but please remember how important each of you brothers and sisters are or can be in your life and your families lives..
I love each of you with all my heart and being... DAD

Warmer weather....
Due to unseasonable warmer weather than Utah usually has, I regret to inform you all that The ice thing, has mostly melted!
I can't say that I am sad that the weather has been really quite nice for this time of year, but I can say, that I really do miss the ice thing when it melts away into nothingness. It may yet get cold enough to rebuild it yet again this winter, but only time tell. Hope you all have a very Happy New Year!

Just a quickie...
Hey everybody. Just a quick update. Life is moving along for us at lightening speed! We are really trying to make this a Christmas we will all remember especially, because as Chet and I just realized the other day, if things go the way it looks like they will be going, by next Christmas, Megan will be married and having her first Christmas on her own, and Ford will be serving a mission! Chet and I might just be having our first Christmas alone in 20 years next year!
Chet has his ice thing up and going, it is off to a wonderful start! I just keep hoping that no one ever gets in a wreck by stopping in the road to look and take pictures! ;) Some of the joys of the season, and the only thing for me that makes it ok that it is this blinking cold! Chet took a picture the other night I will try to get it from him and post for your viewing pleasure. I love you all and hope you are as ready for Christmas as you can be.
Oh ya! One more thing, I went and had a massage from our Mindy sister the other day, and I WILL be going back for more! Love, Love LOVED it! Thanks Mindy! :)

Merry Christmas
Hello all
Well, this has taken a while. Maybe we can revive this blog a bit. I hope so. I will make a concerted effort to get on here more often.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to you all. We wish we could come out for a little celebration. But, we've got some great things coming up this year that I need to start banking my time off for. Things like weddings and family get-togethers and Scout Camps and Girls camps. Well, you get the idea.
This year will also be Jennah and my 15th Anniversary. That seemed like such a huge mile marker when we started this trip. And, it is a big marker. The time just passed on the journey much faster than I could have imagined. I suppose it always does that. Time is funny stuff. Oh well, if the Mayan calendar is right, time will end in 2012 anyway and we won't have to worry about it anymore. Let's live it up!
I am actually looking forward to this new year, even as I glance back at the one just passed and wonder how that happened.
I hope to see you all soon and wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Love Dave & Jennah & the Wild Things (yes, they're here)
