And yet another....
Well family mine. I am just stopping by to tell you all that life continues to roll on for us here.
Megan and Ford continue to work as delivery drivers. Megan could use some extra prayers right now, but all in all we are well.
I have started my annual Thankful for blog. I try to do one entry for every day of November. I don't always make it, but I give it my best effort. If you are interested hope on over and have a read.
Love you all and hope that despite any struggles we might all be enduring, that we might endure them well and know that you are all in my prayers! Love and miss you all!

Okie Dokie! Here is another blog entry from me. ;) HA! couldn't resist.
Anyway, the latest family gathering was a huge success! (at least it seemed like it to me) We missed Stephen and his family of course. It was good to get to chat with him on the phone, but it would have been so much better for them to have been here in person.
It was very nice to see Aunt Faye and Mike, and get to catch up with them for a little bit.
The food was as always delicious!!! I even indulged in a piece and a half of cheesecake! (YUM!) I have not done that in a very long time! :)
I think that everyone that wanted some veggies took some. I am so blessed to have been able to share. Both in the yard and the garden! Thanks for sharing your time and yummies with us all my family. Here are a couple pictures I got. Enjoy. :)

Just a note.....
Just a note to stop in and say Hi to anyone who might happen here to read. Which I don't think anyone makes it here very often. I suppose I might be surprised, but no one says much so you would never know any different. Hope you all are doing well. See all of those who will be able to make it in August.

Sorry its been so long since I've been on. I don't much use my laptop anymore, and I don't have it on my desktop. Things here are good. We just split our ward and I was called as assistant executive secretary to the bishopric, and Jenn was called as nursery worker and enrichment night committee.
I have really appreciated the power of revelation during the last couple of weeks as we have been working to try and get the ward off the ground. Meeting with the bishopric has really allowed me to see that this church is governed at every level by the savior. People have come to mind either through the presidency or the bishopric and the Lord's will has been done. Confirmation comes with such power that it is undeniable.
Hope you are all doing well, and that you know we love you.

Bitch secession....
Today's blog is simply a bitch secession! So if you don't want to listen to me bitch, I suggest you read NO FARTHER!!!!
I KNOW I live in Utah, and I KNOW it snows here, but can I just tell you HOW ready I am for winter to be OVER!!!!
I am trying to be patient, I am trying not to complain. The last few years Chet has mentioned a few times, how my complaining of the snow is not going to make it any less and NOT going to make it go away. I get that! So this year, I have made a concerted effort to try NOT to bitch and complain about the snow as much. And this year, compared to the last few....I have had WAY more reason. Still...I have held it ALLLL inside and not said the typical "I hate winter...I hate snow"...and the usual comments.
Then Mother nature pulls a fast one, and starts to warm up....just a bit...which is what is expected...right? Well....don't let anyone fool you... I think Mother Nature has a warped sense of humor! Let's start to warm up for those who are hoping for warmer weather, and then yank the rug right out from under them!
Not only is is SNOWING like crazy today, but the WIND is blowing, like a long winded bitch with nothing to say but all the wind in which to keep blowing with!!! (heavy sigh)
I know that winter is necessary, but does it need to be so blasted LONG???? Really??? I swear! I wish we could move to someplace that was warmer more months out of the year than cold. Chet would never hear of it though....Must live by the mountains, which I get, if only we got to VISIT the mountain that we live by a bit more, it would make more sense. But NO.... we spend the time he is not working, working his EXTRA job to help us be able to afford more, and do more? Working our lives away, and then the time we have off we spend huddled inside because it is too blinking cold to go do ANYTHING!!!! This is just wrong to me!!! I HATE it!!!! Life is so short, and we are spending pour free time inside freezing to death and doing NOTHING because it is too cold to go out! Blah!!!! I am ready to move away! Too bad it would have to be alone if I did so! :( Okay....rant is over....sorry....

Thinking of you all!
Hello family mine! I hope that you are all doing well. I really wish there was more on this blog about the goings on in all of your lives, since we rarely get to see each other, but I suppose it is enough that you know I love you and miss you all.
Nothing new or adventurous is happening at the Parker house, unless you think working out is adventurous ;) Which I find it enjoyable, but not much of an adventure.
I am still being a lunch lady, Megan is still married and living with her Mother in law, Ford is still delivering parts and enjoying it, but is also thinking about going to school. Chet is still doing air machines, but tractor work is on hold till spring :) So that is our life in a nutshell. :) Hope you are all doing great! Love the Parkers

Thanks for Thanksgiving
Lovely to see you all on Thursday! You are all one of my "Thankful for's". I hope the rest of the holiday season is lovely for you all. I read Jana's blog and I do have to agree that it is good that we aren't next-door-neighbors, but I wish we were closer so that getting together didn't have to be a production. Love you family of mine.

Just a little....
Just a little check in to let everyone know (not that anyone really cares), that I do still came back here to see if there has been any sort of contact from anyone but me. Shocking, but yet again....not even Mom and Dad have checked in.
Well, I wonder how you are all doing and I am excited to see you all at Thanksgiving. Hope you are all doing well. Love ya.

Dear Family
I just wanted to share a special experience I had last week. I had the special honor of ordaining a Brother in our Ward an Elder. I was assigned to home teach he and his family about five years ago. When I started to visit them, they were completely inactive though very receptive to my visits. For a while I just got to know them and became familiar with their challenges and concerns.
Well, a few months ago they started to come back to church. They have a daughter from her previous marriage and her Dad won't give his permission for her to be baptized. That was holding them back because they didn't want to feel like they were leaving her out. The young women's group, including my wonderful Jennah, reached out to Sydney and welcomed her in. That helped a lot, along with a promise that the Lord made through me that if they would become fully active in the Gospel that the situation with Sydney and her Dad would resolve itself.
I can tell you that if I never have an experience like this again in all my future years as a home teacher, this one will be enough. I feel like Ammon who wanted to boasted in the Lord, and I didn't have to remove any arms to feel that way. The wonderful thing is that I didn't do anything, I just participated and what a splendid partnership we can have with the Lord. He does the work, gets the glory, and we get the happiness. Isn't that great! I hope we can all embrace the beauty and joy that is the Gospel we are so richly blessed to participate in.
I love you all!!

Just a note...
This is just a note to let everyone know, I am still here and I am still coming to the blog to see if anyone else is or has posted. So far not since David's last little note.
I am still working on Megan's open house. Still set for August 10th in our back yard.
I still have NO idea what I am doing or how to plan a wedding. Christi said she would be happy to help, but figuring out what Megan wants is where we are hung up at the moment.
Not to mention the fact that the newly weds are planning on moving out on the 3rd of May. Which means in my mind the planning is only going to become harder as our time together is going to be less. I guess I need to just put this ALL on Megan and tell her to figure out what she wants and to let me know what I can do to help. I am just afraid that nothing will get taken care of if I take that approach.
Any how.....Life at the Parker house is just continuing to roll along as usual. Love to you all. Jana & Family

Mom & Dad
I TOTALLY love this picture of Mom & Dad! I took it tonight when Chet and I had the opportunity to go to dinner with them.
I have to say that I have been blessed to be able to see a side of them that I have not seem in a long time. I makes my heart happy to see it!
Mom & Dad, you are so cute together! It is fun to watch what I knew use to be there, but that had somehow gone missing! Thank you for all the effort you have both put into yourselves, each other and your marriage! That is what makes a forever family. Thank you for the example you have tried to be and are for us as couples and families! I love you both! ♥
It's Official!
Well, it's official! My Megan is now married, and I am a Mother in law! Seems so very strange to even type the words! I new this time would come, but it seems time was in a bigger hurry than I was :)
It was a beautiful day for them to get married on. It was clear skies and sun shiny! The warmest day here we have had so far this year! It was a fairly simple ceremony. They asked us not to dress up too much, since they were trying to keep it simple, so we didn't. They had just a few friends come and Chet, me and Ford. Justin had his Dad and step Mom there and that was it. Like I said fairly simple. I think it was a good day for them. Justin's Dad gave them a nights stay in a hotel so they went to the Anniversary Inn in Logan for the night. They had such a good time. Then the next day they spent time running around Logan and headed for home about the time the snow hit.
The next day it was back to life again as normal.
They will be staying with us until their open house in August. It will be August 10th just incase you had maybe forgotten. It will be a little less simple than the wedding was, but I think that is fair since Megan wanted the BIG wedding to begin with and compromised, by having an open house in the first place.
Anyway, that is my update as of right now. I will try to post some pictures of their day a little bit later. I love you all and I am SO looking forward to seeing you all come August!

Humpty Dumpty
Here's some fun courtesy of Kylee. Last night at dinner, the kids all started reciting Humpty Dumpty and modifying it for fun. Here is the winner from Kylee.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty felt some pecking inside
All the Kings' horses and all the Kings' men
Came and watched and out came a hen!
We love simple reasons to smile.
Love ya

Happy President's Day
Wish I felt like there was a Washington or Lincoln available today.
We finally have snow. I hope we get more. How is the water state for all of you guys. Maybe I'll have some green grass this year without having to pay through the nose for it. That would be nice since gasoline is going to eat us all alive this year. Just sayin'.
Sorry, not a very happy post. I'll get something better next time.
Love ya.

Well....
Well it is pretty safe to say, I am allergic to family. Either that or church. I suppose I should blame it a bit more on church. ;)
I was fine Sunday morning before we got to the baby blessing, but about 30 seconds before we went in, I sneezed! Not a big massive sneeze mind you. Just your typical sunshine got up my nose sneeze. My nose ran a bit through church, but I figured it would stop after I took an allergy pill. It usually does, but NO not this time!! Now I have a full on head cold! :P Dang it! First time I have been sick since school started this year though, so I should be grateful (which I am).
Oh well, the baby blessing was great. The testimonies were good, especially the little kids! One little girl in particular was grateful that the Book of Mormon loves us! SO very cute! :) Missed seeing those of you who could not make it. Was good to see those who did! Christi, I understand you and your family have been ill, hope you are all feeling spiffy soon! Love to you all! :)Now I am going to take some cold meds and go to bed!
