Hello family mine! I hope that you are all doing well. I really wish there was more on this blog about the goings on in all of your lives, since we rarely get to see each other, but I suppose it is enough that you know I love you and miss you all.
Nothing new or adventurous is happening at the Parker house, unless you think working out is adventurous ;) Which I find it enjoyable, but not much of an adventure.
I am still being a lunch lady, Megan is still married and living with her Mother in law, Ford is still delivering parts and enjoying it, but is also thinking about going to school. Chet is still doing air machines, but tractor work is on hold till spring :) So that is our life in a nutshell. :) Hope you are all doing great! Love the Parkers

Thanks for Thanksgiving
Lovely to see you all on Thursday! You are all one of my "Thankful for's". I hope the rest of the holiday season is lovely for you all. I read Jana's blog and I do have to agree that it is good that we aren't next-door-neighbors, but I wish we were closer so that getting together didn't have to be a production. Love you family of mine.

Just a little....
Just a little check in to let everyone know (not that anyone really cares), that I do still came back here to see if there has been any sort of contact from anyone but me. Shocking, but yet again....not even Mom and Dad have checked in.
Well, I wonder how you are all doing and I am excited to see you all at Thanksgiving. Hope you are all doing well. Love ya.

Dear Family
I just wanted to share a special experience I had last week. I had the special honor of ordaining a Brother in our Ward an Elder. I was assigned to home teach he and his family about five years ago. When I started to visit them, they were completely inactive though very receptive to my visits. For a while I just got to know them and became familiar with their challenges and concerns.
Well, a few months ago they started to come back to church. They have a daughter from her previous marriage and her Dad won't give his permission for her to be baptized. That was holding them back because they didn't want to feel like they were leaving her out. The young women's group, including my wonderful Jennah, reached out to Sydney and welcomed her in. That helped a lot, along with a promise that the Lord made through me that if they would become fully active in the Gospel that the situation with Sydney and her Dad would resolve itself.
I can tell you that if I never have an experience like this again in all my future years as a home teacher, this one will be enough. I feel like Ammon who wanted to boasted in the Lord, and I didn't have to remove any arms to feel that way. The wonderful thing is that I didn't do anything, I just participated and what a splendid partnership we can have with the Lord. He does the work, gets the glory, and we get the happiness. Isn't that great! I hope we can all embrace the beauty and joy that is the Gospel we are so richly blessed to participate in.
I love you all!!

Just a note...
This is just a note to let everyone know, I am still here and I am still coming to the blog to see if anyone else is or has posted. So far not since David's last little note.
I am still working on Megan's open house. Still set for August 10th in our back yard.
I still have NO idea what I am doing or how to plan a wedding. Christi said she would be happy to help, but figuring out what Megan wants is where we are hung up at the moment.
Not to mention the fact that the newly weds are planning on moving out on the 3rd of May. Which means in my mind the planning is only going to become harder as our time together is going to be less. I guess I need to just put this ALL on Megan and tell her to figure out what she wants and to let me know what I can do to help. I am just afraid that nothing will get taken care of if I take that approach.
Any how.....Life at the Parker house is just continuing to roll along as usual. Love to you all. Jana & Family
