Missing the warmth!

Well, Christmas is come and gone. It was a very nice and relaxing one for us this year! More than can truly be said for some of the years past.
We had the chance to go down and spend Christmas with Mom & Dad this year! It is much easier I have to say, when the kids are older, to have Christmas someplace other than your own home.
I am not saying that I plan on making a practice of this, but merely that it is easier now that the kids are older than I would imagine it would have been when they were little!
That being said, can I just tell you, now that we are home, how very much I am missing the warmth of the southern sun! I got to go outside and run while we were there! I haven't been, and won't be able to do that here at home for a very long time yet! The weather we wonderful, and we had such a nice relaxing time! If time would permit I would go back down tomorrow!
Besides....I was just starting to get acclimated! ;)
I love you all and hope that this Christmas found you all well and healthy! Now I am hoping it will bring us all the best New Year we are willing to work for! I believe that we do get what we work for!
I love you all and hope to get to see you all again soon! Jana & Family!

HAPPY HOLIDAY

Dear Family,
I hope everyone is ready for Christmas, and all the special times that come to our families.. Mom, and i are doing well.. My blood is up and holding strong.. I have another blood draw 1/4/11,I feel everything we be fine then too...
Mom, went to Salt, last week end to take christmas presents and visit with everyone she could.. Sat eve she Megan,Christi, Madie,Gillie, and Mindy got to go out for dinner... Then Sunday morning they all attended the sunday morning Christmas Spokenword program... She then stopped at Steve place and had lunch with them before starting home to St George... She was able to watch Katie and Ryan open their gifts.. Katie loved her new dress but when Ryan opened his gift he started to cry.. and said I don't need clothes I need toys...
Chet had his surgery today and Jan reports he is doing okey tonight.. They plan to come to St George to be with us for Christmas.. That is if the weather is good enough to allow them to travel safely.. We really hope to see them and to spend time with their family...
We just received a note from Mindy, she suggested we as a family we should restart the fanily letter, and start sending it around to each family.. She believes it would help bring us closer as a family and help bring as closer to each other.. I agree, there is something more personal about hold and reading something that one of your family prepared and mailed to other members.. Please don't let this idea fall by the way side I hope everyone will give this serious consideration..
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a very happy Hoilady season .. LOVE DAD

I have been thinking a lot lately about how the years come and go, but with ever passing year though they might be similar they are nevercompletely the same!
Part of what has got
me thinking about this is the "Ice Thing" that Chet
does every year.
Some years it gets going really fast, some years the wind blows and it grows a little lop sided, some years it gets going just a bit at a time, growing day by day, inch by inch. Sometimes, it starts out looking great, and like this year it gets warm and melts before it has much of a chance to get very big.
Like the ice thing, every year brings us different challenges and different lessons that we are suppose to be learning. Hopefully the lessons we have learned have been learned well enough that we won't need to repeat these particular lessons again, but we will continue to grow day by day, inch by inch, into something that when people pass by us they want to stop and look because we have touched them somehow in their life.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas full of all the joys that this season is suppose to bring. With more focus being on the gift that the Savior gave to us That through the years as we continue to grow and change we will be molded into the people that his gift gives us the opportunity to become! Always remembering that things are never staying the same! Excpet for the love our Savior has for each and everyone of us!
Love you all Merry Christmas.
